Welcome to Hader ("the App", "we", "our", "the Service"). Hader is a local food and product delivery platform operating in the Danniyeh region of North Lebanon. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website (haderlb.com).

1 Data We Collect

Account Information:

• Full name
• Phone number: Strictly necessary for manual account verification, and required for our drivers, shops, and call center to contact you to ensure successful delivery or assist with any order issues.
• Delivery addresses

Order Data:

• Order details (items, quantities, prices)
• Order date and time
• Payment method (cash on delivery)
• Order status and order history

Location Data:

• Your geographic location (GPS) to determine delivery address
• We use location only when you request it and with your permission

Device Data:

• Device type and operating system
• Notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) for order updates

2 How We Use Your Data

• Processing and delivering your orders
• Communicating with you about your order status (via app or WhatsApp)
• Improving our services and user experience
• Sending notifications about offers and updates (you can opt out)
• Calculating delivery fees based on your location
• Verifying your location is within the service area (Danniyeh)

3 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We may share your data only in the following cases:

• Restaurants and shops: We share your name, phone number, and delivery address with the shop you ordered from to prepare and deliver your order
• Drivers: We share your delivery address and phone number with the driver assigned to deliver your order
• Technical services: We use services like Google Maps (for maps) and Firebase (for notifications), which are subject to Google's privacy policies
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your data if required by Lebanese law

4 Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored on secure servers (AWS)
• We use SSL/HTTPS encryption to protect data in transit
• Passwords are encrypted and cannot be read by anyone
• Data access is restricted to authorized personnel only

5 App Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• Location: To determine your delivery address and calculate distance and delivery fees
• Notifications: To send real-time order status updates
• Internet: To communicate with our servers and display content

You can manage these permissions from your phone settings at any time.

6 Your Rights

• Access: You can request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: You can edit your account information within the app
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and data within the app or by contacting us (See Section 7 for details)
• Opt-out notifications: You can disable notifications from your phone settings

7 Account & Data Deletion

We provide a clear process for deleting your account and personal data. You can initiate this process directly within the app settings or by contacting our support team.

Deletion & Retention Policy:

• Upon requesting deletion, your account and personal data will be suspended and kept in a pending state for a period of 90 days.
• After the 90-day grace period, your personal information (such as name, phone number, and delivery addresses) will be permanently deleted.
• Exception for Financial Records: We are required to retain your past order history indefinitely strictly for legal and financial accounting purposes. This order data will no longer be linked to your active personal identity.

8 Children

Hader is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.

9 Third-Party Services

We use the following services that have their own privacy policies:

• Google Maps Platform: For maps and location services
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: For sending push notifications
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): For server hosting

10 Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or our website. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
